Founded in 1993, the Company has grown from one
small training centre in Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos
to being a national training provider with training
centres throughout the Sultanate. Our experience,
reputation and expertise in workforce training
and development are complemented by our other
services, Management Consultancy and Manpower
Recruitment Services. By providing Health and
Safety and Defensive Driving courses mostly approved
by Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO) TATI recognises
the importance of HSE training in the Gulf region.
We have considerable expertise in the field of
training existing and potential employees and
guiding young Omanis to choose a career that best
suits their skills and qualifications. The quality
of training is paramount to our company's philosophy,
as effective training of personnel is the key
to success for any organization. We place our
emphasis on quality and work closely with our
clients and design programmes tailored to meet
their
training needs.
During 2007, TATI trained more than 900 Omani
nationals in different fields. The duration of
the training programmes ranged between 7 months
to 12 months. In addition to that approximately
4500 trainees attended short courses ranging from
1-3 days.
TATI was the first institute in the Sultanate
of Oman to become an International Computer Driving
Licence (ICDL) approved training and testing center.
We recognized the benefit of offering the ICDL
qualification in Oman and were involved in the
training and testing of the initial group of the
Ministry of Education staff. These staff members
were later able to set up the testing and training
centres for the Ministry of Education.
We have been involved with the Intilaaqah Business
Planning and Ownership Programme since its inception
in 1995. We have been active in assisting Intilaaqah
in the design, review and implementation of the
programmes. Due to our invaluable experience with
Intilaaqah, we were able to play an active role
in the delivery of the SANAD programme introduced
by the Government of Oman to encourage entrepreneurship
in the country.
We offer a wide range of training courses in
different vocational areas for both the Public
and the Private Sector. These include programmes
for the Commercial, Construction, Oil & Gas,
Retail, Sales & Distribution sectors in addition
to Professional Development Programmes for company
employees. Our courses are delivered in our training
centres or on the customer's premises.
